've always enjoyed watching people and rendering portraits. Capturing a special time or moment.. a unique face or place.. these are the things that inspire my paintings.
Spending almost 10 years on the Gulf Coast, many of my paintings were influenced by the area. Now that I'm back in my home state of Illinois, I'm looking forward to capturing the beauty found right in my own back yard. This page will change as those paintings are created, come back and see what comes through my hands.
Below is a painting that depicts one of the local landmarks on the Gulf Coast. The Pink Pony Pub - Entertaining locals and visitors for over 40 years. The brightness of its colors is what attracted it to me.
